JB has been encouraging me to write things down recently.  So I’m taking the hint and writing something other than a shopping list for a change.  Here goes:

Making me Happy list!

• My new knitted slippers - a little present from Pooh
• Two freshly baked banana cakes sitting in the kitchen on their cooling racks filling the flat with that gorgeous smell of baking cakes :-)
• Josh eating porridge for breakfast - after probably almost a year of trying he decided on Monday without any unusual prompting to tuck in and ended up having thirds of it!!! I love growth spurts!
• Josh’s new red fleece nappy wrap.  It’s so soft and cuddly and festive looking and will hopefully keep his little caboose nice and dry too!
• A full fridge and freezer after this mornings Tesco delivery
• Brand new children’s books on their way to us right now - Little Rabbits Christmas specifically.  It’s such a sweet series for little’uns
• The washing machine appears to be working again after a little clear out by the lovely JB.  I was not relishing the nappy bucket being left to fester any longer …
• The prospect of an Autumnal Halloween meal with friends this Friday
